A circle of trees forms a crescent, which echoes that of the moon in the sky above. A beautiful, dreamlike image by artist John Shannon.
This card has no message inside, so you can write your own. There is a print inside that is a faint copy of the design on the front. It comes with a beautiful matching envelope, again printed with a version of the same image. You can see this in the other picture on the image carousel.
As part of the manufacturer's aim to have the lowest possible environmental impact, the card does not come in a cellophane sleeve. This range of cards uses no trees in its production. The cards are made from recycled materials and sustainable alternative plant sources, such as sugar cane waste.
The card measures 150mm x 105mm (5 and 7/8 inches x 4 and 1/4 inches).
John Shannon is a UK artist, born in Sheffield. Self-taught, he says he always had an interest in fantasy, especially the works of Tolkien, and that it is from there that he gets most of his inspiration.
