Wooden Carved Box with Pentacle

A beautiful, simple box hand-carved from Indian hardwood. On the lid there's a pentacle surrounded by floral patterns, whilst the sides are of plain, polished wood.
The internal measurements of the box are 135mm (13.5cm or 5 and 1/4 inches) by 80mm (8cm or 3 and 1/8 inches).
The external measurements are 150mm (15cm or 6 inches) by 100mm (10cm or 4 inches).
The Pentacle contains many layers of symbolism. The five points symbolize the four directions with the fifth point as the sanctity of spirit. The circle around the star symbolizes unity and wholeness. Similar to other figures which are made of a single unbroken line, this symbol is used to mark off magical enclosures or ritual areas, especially when used for invocation of deities or spirit.
