Star Green Man Box

Made from resin, this green man trinket box has a foliate face on the lid and the box itself is in the shape of an eight-pointed star.
The face on the lid of the box is subtly highlighted with gold, and the sides of the box are decorated with a complementary formal foliate design.
The box is 120mm (12cm or 4 and 3/4 inches) across and 60mm (6cm or 2 and 1/2 inches) high.
The usual interpretation of the Green Man is that of a pagan nature spirit, a symbol of man’s reliance on and union with nature, a symbol of the underlying life-force, and of the renewed cycle of growth each spring.
