Cerridwen's name is derived from the Celtic word "cerru," meaning cauldron. Like the goddess herself, the cauldron symbolizes the transformative power of magic, wisdom, rebirth and creative inspiration. It is said to never empty, but to magically remain forever full, no matter how much is taken from it.
Cerridwen is regarded as a patron Goddess of witches and wizards, and is associated with the moon, fertility, science, prophecy and poetry.
