A set of four candles from our premium range of solid colour candles, with colours to represent the four elements, ideal for your altar or circle. The colours are green for earth, yellow for air, red for fire and blue for water.

The candles are 2cm / ¾ of an inch in diameter, so they'll fit most standard dinner candles holders and candelabra.

The four elements correspond to the four directions of our physical world, the four quarters of the universe, the four winds, and most importantly the four quarters of the magical circle. Fire and Air are considered male energies and Water and Earth are considered to be female. The four elements are forces and energies that make up the universe and everything in it. They also possess form as well as force. In modern pagan practice each element is associated with a color and with a compass direction:
- yellow, representing the element of air, in the east
- red, representing the element of fire, in the south
- blue, representing the element of water, in the west
- green, representing the element of earth, in the north
