Small Carved Wooden Triple Moon Box

A lovely box carved from Indian hardwood, with a triple moon symbol in the centre of the lid, surrounded by a floral design with a scallop pattern to the edge. The sides are also decorated with carvings.
The internal measurements of the box are 100mm (10cm or 4 inches) by 50mm (5cm or 2 inches).
The external measurements are 130mm (13cm or 5 inches) by 75mm (7.5cm or 3 inches).
The triple moon is a Goddess symbol that represents the Maiden, Mother, and Crone as the waxing, full, and waning moon. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities.
